We are seeking a dynamic health care professional for this role to provide nursing leadership and delivery of clinical excellence within our organisation.
Selection criteria:
- Extensive nursing experience
- Registered Nurse, AHPRA / Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Sound clinical competence and commitment to providing high quality evidence based care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage resources effectively
- Evidence of highly developed organisational and networking skills including ability to work closely and collaboratively with medical and all clinical staff
- Computer literacy.
The following criteria are highly desirable:
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, mentor and motivate staff to achieve their best.
- Proven management and leadership skills
- Human resource, change management and planning experience

Chief Music Therapist Maternity Leave April 2012 April 2013
Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is seeking an experienced music therapist with management skills to lead the music therapy department during an anticipated twelve month maternity leave absence. While the preference is for a full-time position, a suitable part-time applicant will also be considered.
The position involves management of the Music Therapy Department including the supervision of 7 music therapists and 2 art therapists, budgetary management and coordination of the music therapy outreach program. In addition to management responsibilities, the position involves the provision of music therapy services in community palliative care and the coordination of the Creative Connections grief support program for children.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in music therapy and registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association
- Relevant post graduate qualification (desirable and/or commenced)
- Experience in clinical supervision
- Proficient and/or advanced managerial skills and experience
- Experience and/or interest in service development and expansion
- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ARIA Music Therapists Reproduction license and a drivers licence valid in Victoria

Senior Psychologist, P3 (Clinical/Health/Counselling Psychologist)
1.0 EFT permanent position

We are currently seeking an experienced clinical, health or counselling psychologist to join our passionate and dynamic multidisciplinary team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem. Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is a statewide tertiary provider of specialist care in progressive neurology. The neurological team works within a neuropalliative rehabilitation framework and aims to provide best practice assessment and holistic care for patients with terminal illness, progressive neurological disorders and their families. The role of the senior psychologist will be to provide assessment, diagnosis and evidence-base psychology interventions to patients with a range of psychological disorders. In addition, the senior psychologist will engage in service development in order facilitate and evaluate psychological services within the hospital.
A minimum of a Masters degree in neuropsychology and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is required. Current clinical knowledge in the field of progressive neurology is desirable. The successful applicants will be able to work well within an interdisciplinary team and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
