Support for Parents/Carers
The social worker on our team is available to assist the parent/ care with information and support to address the needs of their child/ youth in dealing with grief issues, family conflict, social networks and parenting challenges.
Creative Connections can also assist parent/ carers when there are issues of family conflict, social networks and parenting challenges.
Individual appointments can be made to see the social worker at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem or support can be provided over the telephone. There are also group information sessions for parents/carers on supporting their grieving child/ young person. The sessions are dependent on demand; please call 9595 3402 if you are interested.
From time to time depending on demand, the program will also provide group information sessions for parents/carers on supporting their child/ young person with or at risk of developing complicated bereavement issues.
