There are many ways in which people support Calvary Health Care Bethlehem. The support of volunteers, donations and gifts, fundraising and sponsorship are all gratefully accepted as they help us to support the most vulnerable and marginalised in our community.

Calvary Health Care Bethlehem welcomes the support of the business community.

There are many ways that this support can be realised, including:

• Cash gifts or donations: Organisations can choose to make a general cash donation to CHCB or to donate money towards the purchase of specific items of medical equipment for clinical areas in need. Donations of $2 or more to CHCB are tax deductible.
• Cause-related marketing and special events: Active participation in fundraising and public relations events and promotions designed to raise funds for a specific purpose such as building works, equipment purchases, etc. This type of support can include a cash donation pledge as well as offering your organisation’s expertise in marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Payroll deductions and gift matching: Organisations can "adopt" a Calvary Health Care Bethlehem service, by encouraging their staff to consider regular and small deductions from their pay, which are then transferred electronically to our banking account. These employee contributions are tax deductible. Organisations can support their employees’ commitment to Calvary Health Care Bethlehem by matching (dollar for dollar) the level of support provided by their staff.
• Gifts in kind & pro bono services: Businesses that may not be in the position to provide a cash gift can demonstrate their support by donating some of their products or services. This may be the provision of a raffle prize, the provision of food and/or other consumables which might otherwise be an operational or event management expense to Calvary Health Care Bethlehem, or by providing their technical and professional skills free of charge (e.g. printing, marketing, or legal advice).
• Community fundraising: Local businesses and community groups can choose to run a company function or social event (e.g. golf day, BBQ, Dinner Dance or Trivia Night) in support of a Calvary Health Care Bethlehem service.
• Volunteering: Organisations can encourage their employees and provide them with the time to volunteer their talents in support of Calvary Health Care Bethlehem. We have a very active volunteer program in which people may assist with such things as patient transport, carer support, gift shop services and fundraising.
