AN INVITATION TO BE PART OF OUR FUTURE
It is 70 years since the Sisters of the Little Company
of Mary established their service in Melbourne and from 1941, provided
general nursing and maternity services under the name of Bethlehem
Hospital.
Now, 70 years on, Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB)
is part of the Little Company of Mary Health Care national health
organisation, providing services to over 2 million Australians. In
Victoria, we are one of the largest providers of specialist services in
palliative care and progressive neurological disease such as Multiple

Palliative care at CHCB is provided by an

delivering care through our inpatient unit, community services,
outpatient and day centres.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, relying on
Government funding and donations to provide services to our patients and
their families. In order to sustain our current service delivery, and
expand and develop new initiatives going forward, please donate to
assist CHCB continue the mission of the Little Sisters of Mary, in
caring for the sick and dying.
Your support will be appreciated and will make a real difference.

Many families find comfort in making a gift to Calvary Health Care Bethlehem in lieu of flowers, in recognition of the medical care and attention provided to a loved one who has recently died.
Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is grateful for these gifts, which allow us to purchase much needed equipment that will bring comfort to our patients.
Calvary Health Care Bethlehem has In-Memoriam donation envelopes that can be given to families and their chosen funeral director on request.
These envelopes are usually made available at the funeral and will be obtained on request by the Funeral Director.
The money collected at the funeral is forwarded to the Calvary Health Care Bethlehem by either the family or the Funeral Director.
Money is also received via the post from family and friends who have received an envelope at the funeral service and decided to make a donation at a later date.
To receive a supply of In-Memoriam donation envelopes, please phone the Director of Mission on (03) 9595 3220 or collect a supply from our reception desk.
